It is self-administered under the direct observation of a healthcare provider in a REMS-certified setting, with monitoring for at least 2 hours after each dose. Patients must not drive or operate machinery until the next day after a restful sleep. Spravato® is offered at this office.
A non-invasive treatment that uses magnetic pulses to stimulate brain regions involved in mood. FDA clearances are device-specific; the core cleared use is major depression in adults who have not responded to antidepressant medication. TMS does not require anesthesia, and your provider can explain session length and possible side effects. TMS is offered at our Orland Park office.
