Comprehensive, individualized care starts here.
Psychiatric evaluations and medication management for children, adolescents, adults and older adults. Here is what to expect as a new patient at Premier Psychiatry, whether you visit in person or by telehealth.
Why a thorough first evaluation matters.
Psychiatric conditions are rarely simple. A careful first evaluation helps your provider understand your symptoms, your history, and your goals before recommending treatment.
Whether you choose an in-person or telehealth appointment, your provider will conduct a thorough assessment during your first visit to understand your needs, concerns, and goals, including your medical history and any past treatments. Together, you will create a personalized treatment plan.
What We Cover In Your Evaluation
- Your history and current symptoms
- Previous treatments and how they worked for you
- Treatment options, including Spravato® or TMS when appropriate
- A personalized treatment plan you create together

New Patient Frequently Asked Questions
How soon can I get an appointment?
Same-day or next-day appointments when available. Contact our team at (708) 799-8384 to check availability for an in-person appointment in Orland Park or Willowbrook or a telehealth appointment.
Do you see children, teens and older adults?
Yes. Premier Psychiatry provides psychiatric care for children, adolescents, adults and older adults. When you call, our team will help you find a provider and office that suit your needs or your child’s needs.
What are your office hours?
Our Orland Park and Willowbrook offices are open Monday through Thursday, 8:00 AM to 7:00 PM, and Friday, 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM, and are closed on weekends. An appointment is required at our Willowbrook office. Telehealth appointments follow the same general hours. These are general hours, not the hours of every provider, and appointment availability varies by provider.
What if I have tried multiple antidepressants without relief?
Tell your provider which medications you have tried and how they worked. During your evaluation, your provider can discuss whether treatments such as Spravato® or TMS therapy may be appropriate for you.
Can I see my provider virtually after the initial evaluation?
Telehealth video visits are available for patients located in Illinois or Indiana during the visit. Availability varies by provider, and our office will confirm whether a video visit is right for you.
